Hi again everybody!

After taking a break from woodburning to focus on some woodworking projects, I have lined up a few burning projects for myself again.

The most exciting project is that I have become the official pyrographer of Trainwreck Circuits, a small guitar amplifier company. Each amp is hand-built and put into a hardwood cabinet, each of which bears a completely unique woodburning scene on the front. Long story short, the original owner/builder of the company passed away and they stopped making amps, and the new builder started using laser-engraving to label the amps. Apparently there was still demand for the woodburning however, and a buddy of mine suggested that I get in touch with the owner. A couple phone calls and a few samples later, he sent me some wood and ideas for what he wanted burned.

I'm still waiting for images of the finished cabinets from this first batch of faceplate that I burned, but here are some snapshots I took of them pre-finish:
