well this is my first pyro pic with my new wood burner. so glad i bought a good burner finally. the cheep constant heat, lame tip burner i have sucks compared to this one. i want to get some different tips, but i'm good for now.
i decided to do an eagle, hardly anyone ever burns eagles lol, but i like them. it turned out ok for my first one. i give myself a 6 out of 10. i'm sure i'll improve and learn new and better ways of burning, but it's a decent start. the wood i used was some cheep made plaque shape that i got a walmart for 2 bucks, not sure what kind of wood it is. next time i'll also sand it before burning, just was excited to try out my new burner. can't wait til spring when i can cut some logs up for bigger pieces to work on, it'll look much better i think. anyways hope you all like it...... Jay

You have started off running haven't you. This is a very nice piece and you will definitely improve with each one. I would also say way more than a 6. You have an art background I assume. If not it sure looks like you have. Thanks for sharing.
