Hi Everyone,
I'm sure you all have experienced a "blemish" in the wood you were working on, well, here is my attempt at working with an odd shaped knot.

Nice "cover-up" Actually I find it fun to use the natural defects in a burn....brings out the creativity.

Very nice attempt. You covered it nicely.

I live in my own little world but that\'s ok, people know me there.

Yes I have. Believe or not some of us look for them sometimes. lol Like Bill said I agree with him 100%. Most of the time you don't want them but on occasion it is very interesting and challenging to get the most gnarly piece and see what it says to ya. So fun!!! My club mates use to tease me all the time but then they started bringing me pieces and telling me see what you can do with this, lol

I also think you did a fantastic job it fits right into the piece. I love the little ducklings on mama's back, very cute. A very nice piece indeed thanks for sharing it with us.

Excellent job of covering it up! Very creative. Anybody else have a knot they creatively hid? I have one that I did years ago...It's a circle of roses. I think it would be fun to see what others have done. Hugs...Dannie

Here's another one I tried to hide... long dark area alond the duck's neck, and a smaller area near the duck's eye.
